Hotel Popasul Regelui Transalpina truly exceeded our expectations! The big and clean room offered a cozy retreat after our long hikes along the Transalpina. The beautiful location right on the shore of Tau Bistra Lake was simply breathtaking!The staff was incredibly friendly, adding a personal touch to our stay. The free toiletries and hairdryer in the private bathroom were a nice touch for our comfort. We enjoyed the on-site restaurant, indulging in delicious meals while taking in the views of the mountains and lake.Despite the lack of phone signal, the satellite WiFi worked well, allowing us to stay connected with our loved ones back home. The peacefulness of being disconnected was both liberating and refreshing. The onsite free parking was convenient for our road trip adventures along the highest road in Romania.Hotel Popasul Regelui Transalpina offered us a great value for money experience. We highly recommend this eco-friendly lodge for anyone seeking a tranquil escape amidst the stunning Carpathian Mountains.
